Overview

As Director of RF Design Engineering you will lead the development of innovative RF filter solutions, including BAW filters, for complex mobile and embedded applications. You will drive technical excellence, coordinate cross-functional design activities, and guide an engineering team to meet aggressive schedules and customer specs. You’ll foster continuous improvement, scale manufacturing-ready processes, and promote AI-driven productivity across global teams. This is a strategic role with impact on product quality, time-to-market, and overall company objectives.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Lead design and development of RF filter products and modules to meet performance, quality, and schedule targets
Advance BAW filter technology within RF front-end modules
Coordinate cross-functional design activities to ensure rapid, first-to-market delivery
Ensure design integrity through established processes and best practices
Drive design engineering efficiency and reduce cycle times
Collaborate with R&D to smooth transition of new tech into products
Interface with fab sites to improve yields, manufacturability, and material flow
Develop and mentor engineering staff, manage performance and career growth
Promote continuous process improvement culture in Design Engineering
Encourage AI usage to boost team productivity
Travel up to 10%
Foster collaboration with teams in the US and Spain

Zentrale Anforderungen

Proven RF filter design, manufacturing, and testing experience for integrated modules
Strong leadership and change management skills
Excellent interpersonal and people management abilities
Advanced analytical problem-solving skills
Strong organizational skills to build and guide teams
Excellent verbal and written communication, including presentations
5–10 years leading engineering teams
RF design management experience, preferably in cellular handset market
Track record of bringing new products to market
