Director Analyst - Accounting Technology and AI (Remote - Europe)

In this role, you provide research and advisory to global finance leaders, focusing on transforming controllership, AP, AR, and the financial close using AI and automation. You create insights through research and client interactions, helping CFOs improve efficiency and deliver strategic outcomes. You work with a collaborative team to address senior finance priorities and present findings to clients at meetings and Gartner events. • Serve as a subject-matter expert for transforming controllership processes (AP, AR, financial close).
• Guide clients on using AI and automation to improve processing efficiency and strategic CFO outcomes.
• Collaborate with experienced analysts to develop authoritative research and tailored advice.
• Engage with clients daily via videoconferencing or Gartner events to deliver high-quality insights.
• Deliver actionable recommendations and practical guidance in client discussions and presentations.
• Stay ahead of developments in accounting technologies, finance tech, and transformation strategy.
• Present research and insights in face-to-face or virtual formats with clarity and executive presence.
• Support vendor evaluations by aligning use cases with client needs.

• 10+ years of relevant field or industry experience
• 8+ years of experience leading accounting teams supporting record-to-report in large multinationals with transformation experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting automation vendors and technologies associated with financial accounting processes, including ERPs
• Bachelor in Finance or Accounting; CPA or equivalent certification preferred; Master’s degree preferred
• Ability to travel up to 25% regionally and globally
