Director, Embedded Software Platforms

A global technology company is seeking a Director, Embedded Software Platforms to drive the strategy, architecture, and delivery of embedded software platforms used across a portfolio of connected products.

You will lead a global software organization, define platform roadmaps, drive engineering excellence, and build scalable software foundations that enable future product innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop distributed embedded software teams
• Own platform architecture and technology strategy
• Drive software quality, scalability, and platform reuse
• Partner with senior R&D stakeholders on product and technology direction
• Build organizational capability and engineering excellence

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of extensive experience leading embedded software organizations
• Strong background in firmware, RTOS-based systems, and software architecture
• Experience with embedded platform software at scale in a regulated or high-quality environment
• Proven success leading global engineering teams and technology transformation
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
