As a Director Global IT Business Partner Exentec (m/f/d), you will serve as a critical liaison between the Corporate IT department and the GBU Exentec globally, assuring that IT initiatives align with the strategic goals of the organization.

In this role, you will act as a strategic IT advisor, working closely with local and global business leaders to understand their needs and challenges related to IT. The role includes identifying, developing, and implementing IT solutions in alignment with Corp. IT / regional Corp. IT representatives that contribute to the organization's efficiency and growth.

You will also be responsible for fostering the adoption of IT standards and procedures within Exentec. Lastly, you will monitor the performance of IT services to ensure their cost-effectiveness and their ability to meet the business's needs with contribution to Corp. ITs operational excellence.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

• Collaborate with Exentec business leaders to develop and implement IT solutions in alignment with Corp. IT strategy to align with the overall business strategy and objectives.
• Understand the business needs and challenges for Exentec to identify opportunities for IT-enabled innovation.
• Facilitate the decision-making processes required to successfully implement IT solutions.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders globally across departments, business lines, legal entities and regions ensuring their needs are met and expectations are managed.
• Drive the adoption of IT standards, procedures, and policies within the GBU Exentec.
• Guide Exentec business on the definition of business requirements regarding demand requests or ideas (innovation agents)
• Monitor the performance of IT services to ensure they meet the business needs and are cost-effective in alignment with Corp. IT
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process for Exentec IT expenses.
• Identify and mitigate IT risks that could impact the business, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Contribute to the implementation, operationalization of the IT strategy, ensuring it supports the overall Exentec business strategy and objectives.
• Being the first business contact person for all IT belongings of Exentec.

Show your expertise

• Completed Master’s degree or MBA in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of relevant professional experience in a similar role, preferably within a product-oriented delivery organization.
• Proven experience in project management, change management, and strategic planning/execution.
• Strong understanding of IT services, industry best practices, and current trends.
• Excellent business acumen with strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Experience working successfully in multicultural and global environments, including international travel.
• Hands‑on, results‑oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluent English language skills.
