Director of Operations (Luxury Hospitality)

We are looking for a passionate and ambitious Director of Operations to join our leadership team at the Relais & Châteaux Hotel Bülow Palais (5-star superior) and Bülow Residenz in Dresden.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will lead the operational performance of our Rooms Division and Food & Beverage departments while helping shape the future development of our hotels. This includes driving service excellence, developing teams, improving operational performance, and contributing to major projects, including a new restaurant concept and ongoing hotel enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Front Office, Housekeeping and Food & Beverage operations
• Coach and develop department heads and their teams
• Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and service quality
• Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement
• Monitor productivity and key performance indicators
• Collaborate closely with Revenue, Sales & Marketing and Finance
• Act as deputy to the General Manager and support strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience in luxury or upscale hospitality
• Strong Rooms Division and Food & Beverage expertise
• Commercial mindset and strong operational understanding
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop teams
• Fluent German and English
• Relocate to Dresden
