Director of Product Advanced Trading

Overview

As the owner of Bitpanda Fusion (Bitpanda's advanced trading platform), you'll drive the vision, strategy, and execution behind our advanced trading platform, delivering institutional-grade performance to retail users and professional traders alike. You'll define the long-term product strategy, ensure seamless scalability and reliability, and lead multidisciplinary teams to push the boundaries of advanced trading at Bitpanda. You'll balance ruthless prioritisation with long-term strategic thinking, ensuring Fusion evolves into a best-in-class platform that differentiates Bitpanda in the European market.

Responsibilities

• Own, define and execute the product strategy for Fusion, ensuring a high-performance and intuitive experience tailored to skilled traders
• Lead, inspire, and scale a high-performing cross-functional product organization
• Partner closely with Bitpanda senior management to shape the future of Bitpanda's trading ecosystem
• Lead initiatives from idea to implementation and be responsible for the whole product lifecycle to meet short, medium, and longer-term commercial and business objectives
• Engage with external partners and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for innovation and growth

Qualifications

• A proven leader with 10+ years of experience driving complex, multi-disciplinary product and engineering organisations
• Deep understanding of advanced trading, market structure, execution algorithms, and financial infrastructure both in crypto and traditional markets
• Experienced in scaling products to millions of users across multiple markets
• A pragmatic decision-maker who thrives in ambiguity, combining strategic vision with hands-on delivery
• A clear communicator and inspirational leader who can unify teams around a shared purpose and measurable outcomes
