Director of Talent Operations

Own the performance of Zipdev's recruiting and sourcing organization
Manage recruiting performance metrics including time to first qualified candidate, time to fill, starts and placements, recruiter and sourcer productivity, interview-to-hire ratios, submission quality, aging requisitions, candidate pipeline health, quality of hire, recruiting capacity, and forecasting
Diagnose difficult searches and coach the team on sourcing strategy, candidate assessment, interviewing, client calibration, candidate presentation, offer negotiation and closing, market intelligence, and recruiter training and development
Own the performance and development of the Talent Success function
Ensure Zipdev talent remains successful after placement through retention, engagement, risk identification, performance escalations, and monitoring retention trends
Serve as the senior escalation point for difficult searches, market conditions, compensation, candidate availability, search strategy, performance concerns, and talent retention
Evaluate and improve ATS optimization, AI recruiting tools, sourcing technology, assessments, automation, dashboards, reporting, recruiting analytics, AI agents, workflows, and processes
Build a high-performance, high-accountability culture across Recruiting, Sourcing, and Talent Success
Coach and develop recruiters and sourcers, identify skill gaps, create training, establish performance expectations, develop future leaders, run 1:1s and team meetings, address underperformance, recognize high performers, create clarity, and make decisions

Requirements

7+ years of recruiting or staffing experience
Personally demonstrated success as a recruiter
3+ years managing recruiters, sourcers, or recruiting teams
Staffing agency experience
Experience managing a practice, branch, market, or recruiting function
Strong understanding of recruiting funnels and KPIs
Experience working directly with clients and hiring managers
Experience training and developing recruiters
Understanding of staffing economics and commercial decision-making
Experience implementing recruiting technology or process improvements
Experience using AI and automation within recruiting
Experience managing remote or distributed teams
Spanish fluency is a strong plus but not required

Core Competencies

Demonstrates expertise in recruiting performance management, including metrics analysis, team coaching, and talent retention strategies. Proficient in implementing recruiting technology and optimizing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in talent acquisition.
