Director Sales Engineering (m/f/d) - ALPS & Eastern Europe

As Director of Sales Engineering, you will lead a regional team across ALPS and Eastern Europe to enable complex sales cycles with Arctic Wolf’s security platform. You will shape regional strategy, partner with Sales, Product, and R&D, and mentor engineers to deliver trusted, technically sound solutions. The role combines leadership, technical depth, and executive storytelling to drive revenue and expand the footprint in Europe. You will work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment that values collaboration, client impact, and measurable risk reduction.

• Build and lead a high-performance Sales Engineering team
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Architecture, Ops, Marketing, Product, and R&D
• Engage prospects and partners to raise brand awareness and accelerate deals
• Coach engineers on objection handling, solution architecture, and scoping
• Serve as district escalation point for technical campaigns and ensure platform/process fluency
• Represent the company publicly in webinars, tradeshows, and enablement sessions

• 5+ years in front-line management leading a Sales Engineering or pre-sales team
• 10+ years in customer-facing roles in pre-sales engineering or security consulting
• Experience in practitioner, consultative, or pre-sales roles across Networking, Security, Server Infrastructure, Identity Management, Cloud Services, or GRC
• Strong problem-solving, conflict management, and leadership skills
• Fluent in German and English
• Ability to influence executive stakeholders and set strategic direction
