Responsibilities

As Director of Software Development, you will lead the engineering teams behind the connectivity foundation of TeamViewer Remote, Tensor, and ONE. This is your opportunity to own technology that powers global connectivity, drive an AI‑first strategy, and deliver solutions trusted by enterprises, MSPs, and individuals in over 180 countries.

• Define and execute the roadmap for Remote Access & Control—low‑latency streaming, secure connectivity, and cross‑platform performance.
• Embed AI/ML into product features and engineering workflows for smarter, adaptive experiences and faster troubleshooting.
• Oversee distributed, real‑time systems architecture; ensure reliability, security, and performance at global scale.
• Implement secure‑by‑design principles and compliance with ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR.
• Hire, mentor, and grow engineering leaders; foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
• Partner with Product, Security, and Operations to deliver enterprise‑ready solutions.
• Improve CI/CD, observability, and incident response; optimize for speed without sacrificing stability.

Requirements

• 10+ years in software development, 5+ years leading multiple teams and managers.
• Experience building distributed, real‑time, or networking‑heavy software systems.
• Preferred background in remote connectivity or real‑time streaming technologies.
• Hands‑on experience integrating AI/ML into products or engineering workflows.
• Familiarity with secure coding practices and compliance frameworks.
• Strong understanding of zero‑trust security principles and enterprise compliance requirements.
• Ability to articulate technical concepts to executives and stakeholders.
