Senior Developer (f/m/d) – BTP Product Management Regional Implementation Group (RIG)

We are looking for a Senior Developer to join the BTP Product Management RIG, a hands‑on team focused on bringing SAP innovations into customer environments across Europe.

What you’ll build

• Design and implement production‑intent solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform, focusing on AI‑enabled applications, custom agents, and intelligent workflows.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and customer technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable architectures.
• Stay current on SAP platform releases, evaluate suitability for customer use cases, and advise on architecture and implementation strategies.
• Provide structured product feedback from customer engagements to SAP Product Management and Architecture teams to improve capabilities.
• Create sample implementations, reference architectures, and developer enablement materials to assist internal teams and future customers.

What you bring

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, with 6+ years of software development experience, including AI or LLM exposure.
• Hands‑on development experience in Python, Node.js, or Java, and familiarity with LLM ecosystems and agent frameworks such as MCP or A2A.
• Experience building backend services, APIs, workflows, or distributed applications using modern frameworks; interest in LLM orchestration and agent tooling.
• Experience collaborating directly with customer developers, architects, and technical leads on design discussions and solution delivery.
• Strong curiosity, adaptability, and passion for learning emerging technologies, especially in the AI and automation space.
• Fluent English communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
• Enthusiasm for turning ambitious ideas into working software and solving real‑world problems.
