E-AIT Team Leader - Leads & Seniors (m/f/d)

You will lead an E-AIT team responsible for Assembly, Integration and Test of complex space systems.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You are expected to stay close to the engineering work while taking full ownership of team performance, delivery and outcomes. You will operate at the intersection of execution, people and delivery under real project constraints.

If you are looking for a pure management role, this is not it.

Your Task

• Take ownership of team delivery across multiple projects (schedule, cost, quality, risk
• Work directly on technical topics while guiding the team through complex engineering challenge
• Build, lead and develop a high-performing team
• Make staffing decisions based on real project needs, not ideal plans
• Identify issues early and act decisively to resolve them
• Drive accountability and clarity in day-to-day execution
• Ensure knowledge is shared and critical dependencies are reduced
• Step in when problems elevate, technically and organisationally
• Resolve conflicts and maintain team effectiveness under pressure
• Improve how the team works: processes, tools, interface
• Stay aware of industry developments and emerging technologie

Your Profie

• Strong engineering background (Aerospace, Electrical, Systems or similar)
• Extensive hands on experience in space systems in complex technical environments, ideally space systems / satellites
• Demonstrated experience in a technical leadership role, guiding multi-disciplinary engineering teams
• You take responsibility rather than escalati
• Clear thinking, structured approach, strong execution mindset
• Ability to switch between technical depth and system-level view
• Direct communication style and the ability to handle difficult situations
• High level of ownership, resilience and accountability
