Editor – Shows & Script, minimum 32 hours/week

Edit, develop, and adapt scripts and cases for live formats—especially Crime Night—for new cities and regions
Conduct thorough research into topics, facts, and background information, and properly document sources
Write original copy, dialogue, and storylines to a high standard
Manage projects end to end, including timelines, briefings, and coordination with writers and local colleagues on site
Negotiate confidently and professionally with artists and creative partners
Set priorities independently, meet deadlines, and maintain quality under time pressure
Work closely with Show Operations, the writers’ team, and artists

Requirements

Experience as an editor in television, live entertainment, shows, or a comparable format, with a focus on script and story development
Excellent writing skills—you tell stories with a compelling arc and distinctive voice, not just produce text
Strong research skills—you identify reliable sources, verify facts thoroughly, and integrate them precisely into the narrative structure
Proven project management experience—you can keep track of multiple workstreams at the same time
Skilled negotiator when working with artists, writers, and external partners
Structured, self-directed approach—you do not need close supervision to deliver results
Excellent written and spoken German; additional languages are an advantage

Demonstrates expertise in script and story development for live entertainment, with strong project management skills and the ability to conduct thorough research. Proficient in writing compelling narratives and negotiating effectively with creative partners.
