EHS Engineer (m/f/d) – Environment, Health & Safety - Jülich

Your mission

• Development and implementation of EHS programs to promote occupational safety, health and environmental protection measures.
• Planning and conducting internal audits to assess compliance with occupational safety, health and environmental standards.
• Organization and delivery of training sessions on occupational safety, health and environmental protection topics.
• Coordination and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including authorities and certification bodies.
• Supporting compliance with relevant EHS regulations and international standards such as ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Review and optimization of emergency and crisis management processes as well as ensuring operational readiness.
• Integration of ESG requirements into EHS processes and regular reporting on relevant KPIs and progress.

Your profile

• Completed university degree, ideally in Environmental Management, Safety Engineering or a comparable field, or completed vocational training combined with relevant professional experience.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in Environmental, Health & Safety Management, preferably within a manufacturing company.
• Strong knowledge of legal requirements and standards related to occupational safety, health protection and environmental management.
• Experience in conducting audits and working with certifications (e.g. ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
• Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken (C1/C2 level).
• Chinese language skills would be considered a strong advantage.
• Strong communication skills and a pronounced team-oriented mindset.
