At our location in Darmstadt we are currently looking for a
Electrical Engineer, Senior II (m/f/d)
to take an advanced role in design, development and technical safeguarding of complex electronic systems, contributing actively to product quality, reliability and continuous improvement.
- Design and development of complex electrical and electronic systems, including responsibility for requirements analysis, specifications, schematics and layouts
- Technical ownership of electronic solutions, including selection and specification of components and technologies as well as technical decision‑making within the assigned scope
- Execution of system analyses and simulations, including evaluation of results and derivation of technical improvements
- Planning and coordination of test activities, including definition of test concepts, supervision of test setups and interpretation of results
- Responsible for the definition, execution and interpretation of quality assurance analyses, including FMEA, FTA, FMEDA and failure investigations, and derivation of corrective and preventive actions Technical support of product development, series production and lifecycle activities including complaint and warranty analyses
- Technical collaboration and alignment with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring robust, manufacturable and cost ‑ effective solutions
- Contribution to project activities, including effort estimation, progress tracking and escalation support
- Continuous improvement of development processes, methods and tools, combined with structured technical documentation
Your profile
- Master’s degree in electrical engineering or a comparable technical field, or equivalent qualification with strong hardware expertise
- Several years of professional experience in electrical or electronic hardware development, ideally in battery management systems or comparable complex electronic systems
- Several years of professional experience in the development, setup and application of hardware test capabilities, including validation and verification activities
- Sound experience in the development of complex electronic systems, ideally in automotive or comparable environments
- Practical experience in the design and application of EE development processes in the role of an EE hardware engineer, in accordance with ASPICE principles
- Strong understanding of analog digital signal processing concepts
- Experience with system analysis, validation and hardware‑related quality methods
- Structured and analytical working style, combined with a proactive problem‑solving mindset
- Good communication skills and experience working in interdisciplinary teams
- Experience in functional guidance, technical mentoring or acting as a technical reference within the electrical engineering hardware domain
