Electronic Data Interchange Coordinator

Job Purpose

Drive seamless, accurate, and efficient electronic data exchange at Murata Electronics Europe. As an EDI Coordinator (m/f/d), you ensure orders, invoices, and shipping information flow smoothly between customers, suppliers, and logistics partners — keeping our supply chain running and our service outstanding.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a collaborative team to design, develop, and test transactions
• Ensure smooth roll‑outs by following our established standards and guidelines
• Build and configure connections with trading partners, and fine‑tune systems through rigorous testing
• Keep clear records of customer setups and create functional/technical specifications where needed
• Troubleshoot issues quickly within SLAs to maintain operational excellence
• Support both internal teams and external partners in resolving cases
• Proactively monitor systems and coordinate maintenance for minimal downtime

Qualifications and required skills

• IT degree or vocational training
• Experience in EDI or IT Helpdesk
• Solid SQL & Java skills and database know‑how
• Analytical mindset
• Bonus: Seeburger BIS6, Mulesoft API, ERP systems
• Strong communication & teamwork abilities
