Embedded Software Developer (m/f/d)

In this role you will design, implement, and validate embedded software for SoCs and custom platforms, enabling PoCs and prototypes. You will integrate partner SDKs and contribute to HW/SW co-design and debugging in a cross-functional setting. Your work supports rapid prototyping of satellite communication tech and requires collaboration to document software design and best practices. You will work closely with teams to drive tangible system-level impact and validation across platforms.

• Design, implement and test embedded software for SoCs, evaluation boards, and custom platforms
• Develop drivers, middleware, and applications to enable proofs of concept and system prototypes
• Integrate partner SDKs and in-house modules, supporting HW/SW co-design and debugging
• Contribute to rapid prototyping and validation of satellite communication technologies
• Collaborate across teams and document software design, integration, and best practices

• 2–5+ years in embedded software development using C/C++
• Experience with RTOS, embedded Linux, SoCs, FPGAs, and board bring-up
• Familiar with drivers, communication protocols (Ethernet, TCP/IP, 3GPP 5G/6G), and Git workflows
• Completed studiesin computer/electrical engineering or comparable
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and teamwork skills in an innovation-driven environment
• Very good English skills, German basic knowledge
