Data Management Specialist - Key Account Management / Customer Service

At energy & meteo systems, together with our partner companies emsys VPP and emsys grid services, we do our very best every day to efficiently integrate renewable energy into power grids and markets. Your responsibilities

• In the Virtual Power Plant division, you will ensure an optimal database and data quality, which form the foundation for our customer service and our services.
• As a data management specialist, you will be responsible for integrating generation and consumption facilities into the Virtual Power Plant.
• Using your technical expertise, you will check new master data for plausibility—this requires you to review extensive tables containing master data.
• The plausibility check is performed automatically by the system, but you must validate and communicate the error messages and warnings in relation to customer‑specific requirements.
• To this end, you will be in regular contact with customers to work together on establishing a correct database for the best possible implementation of our services.
• In your role, you will gain in‑depth knowledge of the technical and economic specifics of renewable energy plants and energy industry processes, and you will continuously develop your skills as new master data fields are constantly added.

Qualifications

• You have a background in business or engineering and have, for example, completed vocational training as an industrial clerk or hold another relevant qualification.
• What matters is your familiarity with our services—ideally, you already have knowledge of the energy market, renewable energy, and power grids, or you are open to these topics and would like to work with us.
• It is advantageous if you have some experience in data management or are willing to delve deeper into databases, data analysis tools, and complex data structures—we’re happy to support you in this.
• In addition, you impress with your open and communicative nature and your enthusiasm for analyzing and solving complex processes and tasks.
• You have business‑level proficiency in German and English; knowledge of other foreign languages is a plus.
