Engineer / Project Manager Robotics and Automation (m/f/x) 1

As a Robotics Project Manager, you design and optimize robot systems for body-in-white plants in the global automotive sector. You serve as the interface between customers, suppliers, and internal specialists to manage projects in the 2–10 million euro range. You drive robot design, safety, and integration, and you optimize cycles and robot programming through simulation and on-site commissioning. You collaborate across functions to deliver timely, safe, and efficient automated welding and assembly processes. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to shape high-performance robotics solutions at scale.

• Overall project management in robotics
• Technical design of robots, peripherals and safety systems
• Participation in robot simulations and evaluation
• Determine actions to meet cycle-time targets
• Prepare supplier inquiries, evaluate offers, and select suppliers
• Coordinate commissioning, including on-site robot programming instruction

• University studies in electrical engineering, mechatronics, automation technology, or advanced technician/vocational training
• Willingness to travel
• Very good German or English knowledge
