Enterprise Services Engineer

As an Enterprise Services Engineer at Tanium, you operate hands-on with customers to deploy, administer, and optimize the Tanium Platform to meet operations, risk, compliance, asset, and security goals. You work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues and uncover value-driven opportunities, remotely or on-site. You will lead health checks, document best practices, and guide customers’ IT staff to sustain platform reliability. This role offers meaningful impact in large enterprise environments and reinforces Tanium’s mission of Autonomous IT.

• Volunteer time off (VTO) — 5 days

• Operate and maintain the Tanium Platform and modules to meet customer outcomes
• Identify opportunities for greater value from the Tanium platform
• Communicate effectively with customers (verbal and written) to address needs
• Conduct daily health-checks on assigned accounts and collaborate with Technical Support Engineers
• Contribute to activity, after-action, root cause, and status reports
• Document best practices and Play Book entries
• Collaborate with Customer Success Managers to improve operational status in key accounts
• Provide technical direction to customer IT support staff

• 5+ years of experience in IT/Consulting
• 5+ years of experience in Systems Administration/Engineering
• Experience with public sector customers
• Security clearance: minimum Secret; Top Secret or DV preferred
• Ability to speak German and English
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Ability to articulate and communicate
• Broad knowledge across several technical domains with deep knowledge in at least one area (Endpoint Security, Incident Response, Systems Administration, etc.)
• Hands-on Tanium experience (a major plus)
