The Site Process Engineer works alongside the FC Senior Leadership Team while maintaining high collaboration with EU PE functions. This role deploys initiatives, builds networking and relationships in the FC, and drives compliance for the initiatives within an assigned timeline. It initiates and implements EU‑wide improvement activities, demonstrating ownership, understanding detail, and influencing to deliver meaningful productivity and efficiency gains in the FC.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Work on Back to Basics (B2B) initiatives, identifying top opportunities in the FC compared with other EU FCs. Start from the bottom 50% processes, looking for the input metrics with the biggest gap to benchmark, and implement the improvement action plan in close collaboration with the local Operations Management team following the standard improvement templates.
    • Oversee the FC improvement program and set focus on the most important areas, based on alignment with the FC Senior Leadership team.
    • Dive deep into process performance by using available standard reporting or creating own data analysis, call out information in daily dive‑deep meetings, and collect feedback from the local team to convert it into a tangible improvement plan.
    • Review the open Action Plans weekly, engaging the FC stakeholders to complete suggested actions and reach desired targets.
    • Collaborate with central PE functions and other Site PEs from the same region to clarify any process‑related doubts, leveraging their expertise. Benchmarking initiatives are highly recommended to further reduce variation across the FCs.
  • Work on Continuous Improvement with the FC.
    • Drive network best‑practice implementation, leveraging local initiatives led with local Ops and sharing them with EU PE for review. Once approved, the best practice will be added to the EU Best Practice repository, helping top 50% FCs reach best‑in‑class through variation reduction.
    • Strengthen the framework used to capture and scale FC innovation. New ideas and projects from the FC will flow through a standard process and be presented to ACES process SMEs for review.
    • Ensure big projects/ideas from the FC (10M$+ WW saving) are captured in the Operating Plan Q1 (OP1) Project Intake every year.
  • Own the deployment of all EU network initiatives assigned to the FC, ensuring they are executed with the right timeline and reach compliance. Support the FC to commit to testing and pilots for EU Projects to avoid delays and ensure deployment and review across all EU FCs.
  • Partnership with the FC Ops.
    • Join the daily Gemba on the floor with FC leadership to stay aligned with top issues and associate feedback.
    • Organise the weekly LSC meeting with the FC Leadership Team, updating on EU Variation Reduction, EU Projects rolled out in the FC, FC best practices shared at EU level, and FC local initiatives eligible for test or pilot.
    • Support the Site Leader and the FC Senior Management Team, building strong relationships that allow the Site PE to gain trust and buy‑in for all initiatives. Beside standard tasks, the Site PE can support Site Leader and senior ops on process‑related ad‑hoc tasks from the FC, accounting for less than 10% of working time.
  • Be ready to support or lead EU Projects to expand the initial scope and coordinate more than one FC. This opportunity is vital for improving project management skills and dealing with external stakeholders.
