European Patent Attorney (English and German speaking)

Join Huawei's European IP team to implement and govern patent portfolio strategy across Europe. You will manage filings, prosecutions, and office actions, while aligning claims to business goals and potential licensing or litigation scenarios. Your work supports licensing, litigation, and collaboration with inventors, in-house teams, and external counsel. • Implement European patent portfolio management aligning with business goals
• Draft, file, and prosecute patent applications; respond to office actions
• Evaluate invention disclosures and claim charts; interview examiners
• Support licensing and litigation activities in Europe; prepare technical documents
• Collaborate with inventors, in-house teams, and outside counsel
• Review and manage patent applications/patents for commercialization

• Master in electrical engineering/telecommunication, computer science, physics or related field
• Excellent written and oral English and German (legal proficiency)
• Qualified European patent attorney; German patent attorney qualification a plus
