We are currently looking for freelance lecturers f/m/d for the Technology and Architecture program for the subject of Modelling, Simulation and Digital Twin at Heidelberg. The course will take place between and .

Responsibilities

Delivery of content in module Fundamentals of quality
Conducting on-site lectures at Campus Heidelberg
Preparation and delivery of 50 teaching hours (2 groups) per module in a 5‑week block

Qualifications

B.Eng. (required)
M.Eng. or equivalent
Full professional proficiency in English
Valid working visa (contract not eligible for visa sponsorship)
Experience in teaching or practice in modern modelling and simulation techniques and tools (structure, function, behaviour)
Experience with the concept of Digital Twins (product, production, operational performance twin) including their relation to modelling and simulation
Experience with modern product lifecycle processes based on modelling and simulation as well as Digital Twin
Practical insight into modelling, simulation and Digital Twin in the context of a mechatronic system
Willingness for on‑site teaching
