Mission

We are looking for a Finance & Controlling Specialist to join our German subsidiary, Rostock Trans . Reporting to the Site Manager and functionally to the Group Chief Accounting Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the company's financial integrity, supporting business performance, and strengthening the integration of the subsidiary within the Bracchi Group.

You will oversee accounting and finance activities – both receivable and payable, while contributing to budgeting, reporting, controlling, and the continuous improvement of financial processes in an international environment.

Main Activities

  • Manage the full Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with German accounting and tax regulations.
  • Perform general accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, provisions, and month‑end/year‑end closing.
  • Prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with German laws
  • Ensure compliance with local accounting, tax, VAT, and corporate regulations.
  • Prepare monthly financial reporting packages, management reports, and ad hoc financial analyses for both local management and the Group Finance Department.
  • Monitor working capital, customer collections, supplier payments, and cash flow to support business performance.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes by providing meaningful financial insights and KPIs.
  • Collaborate with auditors, tax advisors, and external stakeholders during statutory and fiscal activities.
  • Work closely with the Group Finance team to ensure alignment with Group policies, reporting standards, and internal control procedures.
  • Contribute to finance transformation initiatives, process optimization, and digitalization projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or Controlling roles.
  • Solid experience managing end-to-end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
  • Strong knowledge of German GAAP (HGB), German tax legislation, and VAT regulations.
  • Experience with statutory financial statements and month‑end/year‑end closing processes.
  • Good understanding of budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and financial controlling.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems; experience with Power BI is considered a plus.
  • Native German speaker.
  • Professional English (B2/C1 level) is mandatory; knowledge of Italian is considered an advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a hands‑on approach.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within an international environment.
  • High level of integrity, reliability, and confidentiality.
