Finance Data Analytics & BI Specialist (m/f/d) - fixed -term for 2 years

In this hybrid role at ABB, you will blend Controlling, BI, data analytics, and digitalization to develop data-driven solutions and optimize Finance processes. You will collaborate with Local Division Controllers to evolve existing structures and drive new solutions forward. The work includes building analytics, forecasting support, and leveraging AI and automation to enhance finance workflows at scale. • Develop and continuously enhance Power BI dashboards, reports, and KPI systems
• Build and optimize data models and self-service reporting solutions
• Prepare complex data to support well-founded management decisions
• Further develop the existing reporting and Controlling setup
• Support Local Division Controllers with forecasts, budgeting, and variance analyses
• Analyze and develop production controlling and monthly reporting
• Analyze and combine large data sets from SAP, Salesforce, and other systems
• Identify cost drivers, trends, and optimization opportunities
• Develop data-driven analyses and approaches for predictive analytics
• Ensure and continuously improve data quality
• Identify and implement AI and automation opportunities using Microsoft Copilot, AI agents, and Power Automate
• Digitalize and optimize Finance and Controlling processes
• Contribute to SAP S/4HANA, Microsoft Fabric, and Power Platform landscape
• Challenge existing processes and reporting solutions and propose improvements
• Develop creative and efficient dashboards, visualizations, processes, and reporting

• Degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, or comparable field
• Professional experience in Controlling and understanding of Finance processes
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Power BI
• Experience with SAP FI/CO and/or SAP S/4HANA
• Knowledge of Power Query and DAX
• Initial experience with Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, or comparable AI/automation tools
• Strong interest in AI, data analytics, and digitalization
• Ideally knowledge of Snowflake
