Fleetlery is a fast-growing logistics and staffing company operating across multiple legal entities in Germany and Europe. As our business continues to scale, we are looking to further professionalize our finance organization and establish scalable processes, systems, and reporting structures.

We are therefore looking for a Finance Manager - Controlling & Finance Operations (m/f/d) who will take end-to-end ownership of our finance processes across the group and help us build the financial infrastructure for our next stage of growth.

Your Mission

You will take ownership of Fleetlery’s end-to-end finance processes across our different legal entities - from controlling and management reporting to accounting-related workflows, financial planning, and systems.

This is not a traditional accounting role. Your focus will be on creating transparency, scalable processes, reliable reporting, and efficient systems .

You will work closely with our management team, external tax advisors, and the operational teams to establish a finance setup that enables better and faster business decisions.

Your Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of finance processes across our different legal entities.
• Build, standardize, and continuously improve finance processes and structures.
• Develop and own our controlling and management reporting framework.
• Establish relevant financial and operational KPIs and provide management with actionable insights.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, liquidity planning, and variance analysis .
• Create regular management reports as well as ad-hoc financial analyses and business cases.
• Coordinate accounting-related processes and collaborate closely with our external tax advisors.
• Ensure efficient processes around accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing, and month-end closing.
• Improve transparency across entities, customers, business units, and cost centers.
• Evaluate our existing finance technology landscape and identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
• Evaluate, select, and implement new finance software or an ERP system where required.
• Further develop our current setup around DATEV Unternehmen online and establish efficient interfaces between accounting, controlling, and other business systems.
• Work closely with Operations, HR, and Management to translate business developments into financial insights.
• Support strategic finance projects related to our continued growth and international expansion.

Your Profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Business Administration, Economics , or a comparable field.
• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in controlling, finance, transaction services, audit, consulting, or a comparable role.
• Strong understanding of controlling, financial reporting, and finance processes .
• Experience in designing or improving finance processes and structures is highly valued.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn complex data into clear management insights.
• Advanced Excel skills and a strong affinity for systems, data, and automation.
• Experience with DATEV / DATEV Unternehmen online is a plus.
• Experience with ERP systems, BI tools, or finance system implementations is a strong advantage.
• Entrepreneurial and hands-on mindset - you are comfortable both designing a process and implementing it yourself.
• Highly structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style.
• Fluent in German and English .
