Financial Accountant, Accountant

Overview

• Financial accounting & reporting
• Review, recording and posting of incoming and outgoing invoices (CRM & DATEV)
• Management and posting of bank transactions
• Handling of payment transactions and monitoring of the dunning/collections process
• Accounts payable and accounts receivable accounting
• Active participation in monthly and annual closings
• Further development of automations in accounting processes
• Point of contact for internal departments and external partners on accounting-related questions

Requirements

• Completed commercial vocational training or a degree in business administration
• At least 2–3 years of professional experience in accounting, controlling or data analysis
• Solid knowledge of accounting and financial reporting
• Strong MS Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas)
• Basic understanding of database queries (SQL is an advantage)
• Business-fluent German (minimum B2) and good English skills
• Nice-to-have: experience with DATEV and/or a CRM system (e.g., MS Dynamics 365)
• Support for controlling, especially liquidity planning and budget forecasting
• Participation in preparing the annual financial plan
• Experience with data modeling tools, ideally Microsoft Power BI
