Financial Accountant - France (m/f/d)

As our Financial Accountant for France (d/w/m), you are the backbone of our financial operations in one of our most exciting markets. You don’t just manage numbers; you ensure that HYROX France operates on a solid legal and fiscal foundation. You will report directly to the Group CFO and act as a strategic partner to the local Country Manager.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Full Cycle Accounting & Bookkeeping: You own the daily business, including AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and the management of the finance email inbox (vendor requests).
• Tax & Compliance: You are our local expert for French legislation. You prepare tax returns, set VAT rates, and ensure full compliance with FRGAAP and tax laws.
• Closing & Reporting: You lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes (including cut-offs). You prepare high‑quality monthly reports in HFM for the Group.
• Payment Management: You handle weekly vendor payments and oversee the accounting/lettering of payroll entries (provided by an external firm), including social security charge controls.
• Intercompany & Stakeholders: You reconcile intercompany flows and act as the primary point of contact for banks, auditors, and external accounting firms.
• Strategic Support: You support the Country Manager in managing the French entity by providing clear financial insights.

YOUR PROFILE

• Experience: You are a Senior Accountant with at least 5 years of experience.
• Technical Excellence: You have basic knowledge of IFRS and FRGAAP. You are experienced in French tax law and VAT regulations.
• Systems: Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and HFM is a significant advantage.
• Communication: You are fluent in English and French. You are a pro at managing stakeholders and communicating clearly with both local teams and Group leadership.
• Mindset: You love the "Power of Detail." You are comfortable with daily hands‑on bookkeeping but can also provide the high‑level reporting a Group CFO expects.
