Financial Accountant – Senior Accountant

Timely preparation, analysis and quality assurance of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with German GAAP (HGB).

Assessment of business transactions and correct accounting under HGB.

Preparation of VAT returns, tax returns and statistical filings.

Execution of intercompany reconciliations at national and international levels.

Working with large data sets, using Excel for analysis and process optimization.

Supporting the head of accounting and actively shaping financial processes.

Requirements

• Commercial vocational training with further qualification as Bilanzbuchhalter (IHK) or an equivalent qualification
• Strong knowledge of accounting under HGB
• Good understanding of accounting and reporting processes
• Excel power user, experienced with pivot tables and handling large datasets
• Solid knowledge of SAP FI/CO
• Good command of English
• Structured working style, team player, clear communicator, punctual and highly reliable
