Financial Analyst - Plant Operations (m/f/d)

In this role, you enable the Adelberg plant’s financial performance through accurate reporting and insightful analysis. You work closely with Plant Controller, Operations, and Supply Chain to drive performance and continuous improvement. You translate operational data into clear insights and support decision-making across Finance and central teams. The position emphasizes on-site collaboration and hands-on cost management within an industrial setting.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operation performance reports
• Forecast cost centers, budgets, and schedules for business partners
• Analyze variances, identify root causes, and support corrective actions
• Assist with internal control documentation and testing
• Participate in plant Kaizen events and meetings with financial data provision
• Track cost streams and identify cost-saving opportunities (TEBIT)
• Contribute to month-end close for Adelberg plant and reporting inputs
• Provide financial analysis for initiatives, business cases, and Hoshin priorities
• Support standard cost updates, data validation, and variance analysis
• Assist ad hoc analyses, financial modeling, and process improvements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, with several years of finance or accounting experience
• Manufacturing/operations finance experience preferred
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; SAP knowledge is a plus
• Ability to interact with all levels of the organization
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
• Ability to leverage AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT) in day-to-day tasks
