Financial Controller – Offshore Operations

Responsibilities

• Responsible for operational planning and reporting, including mid‑term planning for multiple offshore wind farms.
• Monitor financial and operational KPIs on a monthly basis.
• Advise the Operations team to improve financial performance and maximize asset value.
• Manage, develop and coordinate reporting and planning processes for the business area.
• Lead project work to standardize and enhance reporting practices for the newly combined business.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders within the RWE group (Accounting, Tax, Central Controlling) and with external stakeholders at our assets.
• Act as financial business partner to Offshore management to identify innovative solutions and support successful business development.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a STEM discipline with supplementary finance qualifications.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and present findings clearly and logically.
• Professional experience in a commercial/financial environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships within the Controlling team and across the wider business.
• High level of self-organisation, personal commitment, energy and flexibility.
• Fluent in English and German; Dutch and Danish are advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively across different countries and cultures.
• Knowledge of value drivers in Offshore Wind is advantageous but not essential.
• Experience with relevant financial IT applications such as SAP Business Warehouse, Visual Analytics, Power Query, and Power BI.
