Financial Manager - Accounting (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting team.
• Successful delivery of the month end process to facilitate accurate reporting in line with Midea Group and internal policies and procedures.
• Ensure completion and review of assigned balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis.
• Create and present of balance sheet reporting pack to Head of Finance
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and annual reports.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards, business compliance, policies and procedures are adopted and complied with within own area.
• Identify and manage financial and commercial risk through a thorough understanding of commercial terms, on-going performance, and other influencing factors.
• Support the delivery of internal and external audit deliverables.
• Promote and supporting internal controls.
• Management and leadership of your team
• Coordinate with Sales teams to review and resolve customer claims, ensuring alignment with internal sales policies, financial guidelines, and customer satisfaction objectives

Your profile

• ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified or equivalent
• A minimum of 10 years of accounting experience in multinational companies
• Experience of statutory financial reporting
• Motivated self-starter with analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Proven ability to take ownership of tasks and see through to completion
• Willingness to get involved in the detail and work at a transactional level
• Team player
