Forward Deployed Engineer, Mid-Senior

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with customer engineering and research teams
• Understand complex photonic, semiconductor, and hardware design workflows
• Design and deploy AI-powered workflows using LLMs, simulations, and scientific models
• Build prototypes demonstrating AI-assisted modeling, optimization, and automation
• Orchestrate workflows combining AI systems, simulation environments, and customer data
• Translate field insights into product feedback and roadmap recommendations
• Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout pilots and production deployments
• Help shape the evolution of next‑generation AI platforms for engineering applications

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Applied Mathematics, Photonics, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Applied AI, Solutions Engineering, or Forward Deployed Engineering
• Strong Python programming skills
• Experience with scientific computing and workflow orchestration
• Hands‑on experience with LLMs, APIs, agentic systems, and modern AI tooling
• Experience working directly with customers or technical stakeholders
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to bridge scientific concepts and software implementation.
