handly is the fastest-growing business-in-a-box for German craft companies, starting with roofing. We help self-employed craftsmen build profitable, long-term businesses by combining vertical software with AI-enabled services for growth and backoffice. We're 11 people in Berlin, backed by 20VC, Stride and Base10 (€3.75M seed).

Tasks

Founding Sales means founding. The seat grows with what you do in it.

You start on the phone. Within one to three months you're closing your own deals. That's the plan we hire you against.

Month 1: the phone. You take the outbound motion we've already tested and run it every day. The playbook and the lists already exist. Your job is to dial and crush a clear quota of attended discovery calls with qualified roofers. You improve your script and your objection handling with every single call.
Month 1 to 3: you take the wheel. You stop handing your meetings over. You run the demo, you sit in the objections, you send the contract, you sign the partner. First dial to signature, your name on all of it. Most SDR seats dangle full cycle for two years and call it a career path. Here it's one quarter of proof.
After that: whatever you can carry. Own the number. Rebuild the script for the people who come after you. Think about what makes a great sales team.

You work directly with our CEO & Founder Basti to fuel our growth. You become our outbound machine and get rewarded for doing so.

Requirements

1+ year of sales experience (preferably outbound). You've carried a quota and you've hit it.
You love the phone. Calling roofers isn't a tax you pay, it's the part of the job you'd do on a Saturday.
Coachable and resilient. You get told no thirty times before lunch and dial number thirtyone anyway. Every conversation is a data point, not a verdict.
High agency. You move on partial information, you don't wait to be told what to do, and you turn vague problems into real execution.
Native German. Our partners don't speak English.
Berlin-based or willing to relocate. Ready for in-office 5 days a week.

This role is NOT for you if

You want to play sales manager before you've closed a deal end-to-end.
You think you're "above" outbound, or you want to skip the phone months and go straight to closing.
You need detailed playbooks before you act.
You want a 9-to-5, or you want to work remote.
You'd rather workshop strategy than execute today.
You've never actually sold anything.
