Position Overview
Full Professor (W2, Tenure Track W3) in Advanced Scanning Probe Techniques at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences RWTH Aachen University.
The professorship will advance low-temperature scanning probe techniques to explore local electronic, magnetic, and thermal phenomena in solid-state systems. It strengthens research in quantum technologies, 2D materials, and solid‑state physics within the Cluster of Excellence "Matter and Light for Quantum Computing" at RWTH Aachen University, while contributing to teaching in experimental physics.
Responsibilities
- Advance low‑temperature scanning probe techniques to explore local electronic, magnetic, and thermal phenomena in solid‑state systems.
- Strengthen research in quantum technologies, 2D materials, and solid‑state physics within the Cluster of Excellence "Matter and Light for Quantum Computing".
