Role Summary

An international leader in cross-border e-commerce regulatory compliance is hiring a bilingual (German/Turkish) Business Development Officer. Joining a fast-paced, four-person squad, you will oversee key client relationships, drive complex contract negotiations with corporate leadership, expand local market share, and coach associate team members.

Core Responsibilities

• Strategic Account Management: Direct major client portfolios, serving as a trusted advisor to C-level decision-makers.
• Deal Execution: Independently negotiate, structure, and finalize profitable commercial agreements.
• Solution Oversight: Guarantee the precise execution of tailored compliance services matching client targets.
• Analytics & Projections: Monitor key account health, maintain accurate revenue forecasts, and present regular performance updates.
• Territory Growth: Collaborate with regional sales teams to uncover and convert emerging market opportunities.
• Leadership & Mentorship: Guide, train, and support junior business development colleagues.
• Industry Engagement: Monitor global e-commerce regulatory shifts while expanding key partner and vendor networks.

Qualifications & Profile

Essential Criteria

• Background: 3+ years in account management, corporate growth, and deal closing.
• Languages: C2 (bilingual/native level) proficiency in German and Turkish; C1 (professional) operational English.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or a relevant field.
• Skillset: Highly organized, assertive under pressure, and capable of managing multi-layered stakeholder priorities.
• Location: Based in or relocatable to the Frankfurt region, comfortable with 4 days per week in-office and periodic travel for industry events.

Preferred Criteria

• Prior background in the e-commerce sector.
• Working knowledge of extra foreign languages.
