Position: Business Development Officer (m/f/d) - German & Turkish

Location: Frankfurt am Main, Germany (Hybrid: 4 days on-site / 1 day remote)

Contract & Hours: Full-time, Permanent

Compensation: €50,000 fixed base salary + incentive bonus + corporate benefits

Overview

A global leader in cross-border e-commerce regulatory compliance is recruiting a bilingual Business Development Officer. Working within an agile, four-person business development unit, you will manage major client relationships, lead complex contract negotiations with executive decision-makers, expand regional market share, and mentor junior colleagues.

Core Responsibilities

• Strategic Account Management: Manage key client portfolios, serving as a trusted advisor to C-level executives.
• Deal Execution: Independently structure, negotiate, and finalize profitable commercial agreements.
• Service Delivery: Oversee the seamless execution of customized compliance solutions aligned with client goals.
• Analytics & Forecasting: Track key account metrics, maintain precise revenue projections, and report performance to leadership.
• Territory Expansion: Collaborate with sales teams to identify and capture new market opportunities across assigned regions.
• Team Leadership: Provide coaching, mentorship, and day-to-day guidance to junior business development team members.
• Industry Alignment: Monitor global e-commerce regulatory changes while cultivating strong partner and vendor networks.

Qualifications & Profile

• Professional Experience: 3+ years of proven background in key account management, B2B deal closing, and business development.
• Language Capabilities: Fluent or native proficiency (C2 level) in both German and Turkish, combined with C1-level professional English.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Core Competencies: Highly organized, confident in high-stakes settings, and skilled at managing complex stakeholder priorities.
• Presence & Mobility: Based in or willing to relocate to the Frankfurt region, with availability for 4 days on-site weekly and periodic travel for industry functions.
• Desirable Qualifications: Prior experience in e-commerce or regulatory compliance environments; knowledge of additional foreign languages.
