You join Goldman Sachs to help clients navigate complex technology, media, and telecom transactions. In the TMT Group, you’ll work on advisory and financing deals that shape milestones for corporations, governments, and financial sponsors. You will build financial models, produce presentations, and support live deal execution with cross-functional teams. This role combines rigorous analysis with client-facing collaboration to drive strategic outcomes in a dynamic sector. You’ll contribute to a high-impact team that shapes transactions and client strategy across M&A, equity and debt financing, and restructurings.

• Develop presentations and reports using industry research, models, and statistics for TMT clients on strategic alternatives and capital markets activities
• Perform comprehensive analyses of transactions (e.g., pro forma M&A, LBOs, public listings) using DCF, SOTP, comps, and precedent transactions
• Analyze accounting/regulatory filings and financial projections to provide financial and economic advice
• Support live deal execution in the TMT sector, including due diligence, drafting legal documents with lawyers, and coordinating roadshows
• Coordinate with senior bankers and product experts to address market or economic issues for client dialogue
• Interact with client management and working groups to update on progress and provide recommendations

• Bachelor’s degree with strong academic record and at least 1 year of work experience or MBA with relevant experience
• Significant investment banking experience, preferably in Technology/TMT
• Experience with buy-side and sell-side M&A, equity and debt financings
• Due-diligence and transaction execution experience
• Strong financial modeling skills and valuation experience (DCF, LBO, comps, precedent transactions)
• Experience preparing industry/company presentations and benchmarking materials
• Strong teamwork and ability to collaborate across groups and regions
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
