What you can expect

Overview

Take full ownership of the global IT infrastructure strategy and execution in an international pharma environment. You will drive a major transformation towards a modern hybrid IT landscape while leading global high-performing teams. On top you will be responsible for the direct IT lead on the sites of Germany.

Strategic Responsibilities

• Define and execute the global IT infrastructure strategy


• Drive the transformation to a scalable hybrid & cloud-based environment (Azure)


• Set global standards for architecture, security, and operations


• Partner with senior leadership to align IT with business growth priorities


• Own the global infrastructure budget and vendor strategy

Operational Responsibilities

• Ensure stable, secure, and high-performing global IT operations


• Oversee infrastructure across network, cloud, data centers, and endpoints


• Lead cloud migration and ongoing optimization


• Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and GMP requirements


• Manage and develop international IT infrastructure teams

To successfully master this role, we are looking for the following qualifications:

• Proven leadership experience in global IT infrastructure environments


• Strong track record in IT transformation and cloud (Azure)


• Expertise in cybersecurity and regulated industries


• Strategic mindset combined with hands-on leadership


• Strong understanding of enterprise IT/OT applications and digital systems


• Solid knowledge of GxP-compliant systems and pharmaceutical regulatory frameworks.
