Global Operational Excellence Lead

In this role you drive Operational Excellence across Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health's global manufacturing network. You lead a dedicated BPE team, partnering with senior site and network leaders to deliver productivity, efficiency, and capability improvements. You embed standards, governance, and capability programs to sustain performance gains and cultural change. You translate strategic priorities into scalable, long‑term operational solutions, with a clear impact on business results.

• Lead the regional Business Process Excellence organization across multiple manufacturing networks
• Define and execute the regional Operational Excellence roadmap aligned with priorities and manufacturing strategy
• Drive productivity, efficiency, and cost-saving initiatives with measurable business impact
• Partner with site leaders and stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and govern improvement initiatives
• Establish and evolve OE standards, KPI frameworks, and capability-building programs
• Champion Root Cause Analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and data-driven decision-making
• Translate strategic priorities into scalable operational solutions and long-term capability
• Ensure governance and performance management across the network

• Master's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field
• Significant experience in Operational Excellence, Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Business Process Excellence in a regulated manufacturing environment
• Proven leadership of OE teams or multi-site programs at regional or global scale
• Track record of delivering productivity improvements, efficiency gains, and cost savings
• Strong Lean Manufacturing, CI methodologies, performance management, and organizational transformation expertise
• Experience partnering with senior leaders within a complex global matrix organization
• Excellent communication, influencing, and change leadership skills
