Head of Business Line - Conveyor Technology (m/f/d)

In our Conveyor Technology business line, around 600 employees at 23 locations across Germany ensure the safe and reliable operation of technically demanding systems. To continue delivering services that create greater value and trust while further strengthening our strong market position, we are seeking an experienced leader as part of a planned succession for the role of Head of Business Line. In this position, you will report directly to the Managing Directors and be a member of the extended executive management team.

Your Tasks

• Full responsibility for the Conveyor Technology business line, including revenue, profitability, and quality performance
• Management of pricing and quality policies, product maintenance and development, as well as accreditation and notification processes, including active participation in relevant committees
• Strategic development of the service portfolio and identification of new business opportunities
• Initiation and co-design of innovation, digitalization, and process optimization initiatives
• Promotion of professional training and development, as well as active public representation of the business line
• Close and constructive collaboration with other regions and business units
• Accountability for processes, quality assurance, and occupational health and safety

Your Qualifications

• Completed university degree, preferably in a technical field such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering; alternatively in Business Administration with a technical focus
• Inspiring leadership personality with many years of experience in a position with responsibility for revenue and results
• Proven track record in the strategic development of complex product portfolios is an advantage
• Strong ability to analyze market developments and identify new customer and growth opportunities
• Solid market and industry knowledge, as well as a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and international standards
• Experience in building efficient structures and processes to sustainably increase business success and profitability
• Business‑fluent German and excellent command of English

With around 600 employees, the Conveyor Technology business line is a specialized and broadly positioned unit within TÜV SÜD Industrie Service GmbH.
