Position Overview

As Head of Commercial Platforms you are responsible for the strategic steering and continuous development of the entire Commercial Tech Stack – across Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and eCommerce. You lead an international Product Owner organisation, drive key tool and platform decisions, and ensure systems create real business impact.

Responsibilities

• You lead an international Product Owner organisation and define clear responsibilities, priorities and governance structures for all commercial systems at DKV Mobility.
• You steer RFX-, vendor- and business‑case processes for commercial systems and bring decisions together with IT for final approval.
• You make well‑informed make‑or‑buy decisions and choose between standard solution, custom development or tool change based on business value, scalability and cost.
• You oversee prioritisation of requirements from Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and eCommerce in a cross‑functional tool roadmap, balancing business value, technical feasibility and available delivery capacity.
• You manage continuous development of commercial tooling – including RFC funnel, backlog, prioritisation and close coordination with IT, CoEs and other delivery partners.
• You secure rollout, adoption and effectiveness of the platforms in daily operations through enablement, usage control, performance measurement and optimisation based on feedback and data.
• You actively contribute to ensuring stable system performance and high usability for both internal users and external customers across all touchpoints.
• You drive automation and AI use in the commercial domain, turning relevant use‑cases into scalable, operationally effective solutions with measurable business impact.

Qualifications

• You have several years of experience building and leading international commercial‑systems or product organisations, ideally with several Product Owners, a complex tech stack and cross‑functional steering.
• You bring extensive leadership experience and can develop people, establish clear responsibility and keep teams calm when roadmaps are complex.
• You have experience building and scaling agile product organisations for internal platforms, with a central demand, backlog and prioritisation model across multiple domains.
• You have solid practical experience with integrated commercial‑system landscapes across CRM, ERP, DXP, contact centre and AI, including clear system roles, stable integrations and consistent data flows.
• You bring comprehensive experience in RFX/RFP processes, tool selection, vendor management, contract negotiation and make‑or‑buy and consolidation decisions.
• You possess deep knowledge of system architecture and integration design, and can translate commercial stacks end‑to‑end into resilient capabilities, interfaces and data flows.
• You have a strong ability to translate requirements from Sales, Marketing, Service and eCommerce into scalable, cross‑system solutions that are technically sound, business‑relevant and well‑executed.
• You have fluent English; additional languages are a clear plus in our international environment.
• You are a team player with high quality standards and a focus on impact, question the status quo, think solution oriented and have a continuous improvement mindset.
