Head of Design Engineering

Responsibilities

• You take on the technical leadership role for a team of design engineers.
• You develop complete product solutions — from initial concept through to production readiness.
• You drive the digitalization of design and engineering processes (keywords: CAD tools, SAP S/4HANA).
• You coordinate closely with Sales, Procurement, R&D and Production to keep projects on track.

Requirements

• Several years of design/engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, including at least initial leadership experience.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering or a comparable technical qualification.
• Confident use of CAD systems (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and sound project management skills.
