Head of Trademark and Design Law

Responsibilities

• Lead the trademark and design law department, currently comprising 4 staff members
• Oversee trademark and design law business internally and externally for the entire firm
• Responsible for growth and expansion of the trademark and design law practice area
• Acquire new clients and deepen engagement with existing clients
• Represent the trademark and design law practice externally
• Manage and oversee day-to-day operations

Requirements

• Completed law degree
• Relevant professional experience in trademark and design law
• Experience with prosecution, opposition and cancellation proceedings
• Drafting and reviewing contracts with third parties to protect trademark portfolios
• Handling infringement proceedings at pre-litigation and court levels
• Initiating proceedings before the relevant authorities and courts
• Strong communication skills
• Leadership and management skills
