This role is based in Dresden , one of Germany’s most vibrant tech hubs.

Responsibilities as Head of Development:

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing software team in a collaborative, innovation-driven environment .
Define and deliver the technical vision for cutting-edge healthcare applications , ensuring top standards in security , reliability , and scalability .
Oversee the entire software development lifecycle – from concept and architecture through to deployment and continuous optimisation.
Promote and enforce best practices in coding , testing , and documentation , with adherence to healthcare regulations and standards .
Drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies , using the latest in C#.NET and cloud-based architectures to improve development efficiency and patient impact.

Requirements for the Head of Development position:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (a Master’s degree is preferred).
Extensive experience in a senior software development role with a strong track record of leading and scaling development teams .
Deep expertise in C#.NET , including ASP.NET and .NET Core , especially in the development of secure, high-performance healthcare applications .
Outstanding leadership and communication skills , able to collaborate with both clinical and technical stakeholders .
Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and a commitment to continuous process improvement .
