Overview

As Helsing’s Head of FP&A, you will shape the finance function from the ground up, building the global planning and reporting backbone and the capital model to support multi‑billion-dollar growth. You’ll partner with the CEO, CFO and Executive Committee to translate operational realities into a clear financial narrative for a discerning Board and investors. The role blends high‑growth tech finance with defense‑contract economics across software and advanced manufacturing. Expect hands‑on leadership, cross‑functional collaboration, and a data‑driven approach to strategic decision‑making.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Own global budget, multi-year plans, and rolling forecasts across P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and capital plans
Model financial outcomes for advanced manufacturing footprints and assess trade-offs between capex and opex
Design pricing, revenue recognition, and margin models for diverse defense contracts under local standards
Build scenario analyses (bull/base/bear) to stress-test revenue, manufacturing, and procurement variables
Lead monthly financial reviews with variance analysis and commercial insight for budgets and forecasts
Collaborate with CFO/executive team through major corporate events (capital markets, IPO prep, growth funding)

Zentrale Anforderungen

Proven experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or corporate finance in high-growth or venture-backed environments
Hands-on approach to monthly reporting and variance analysis; ability to scale infrastructure for complex business models
Direct experience managing FP&A for physical manufacturing with government contracts (cost-plus, fixed-price, milestone billing)
Strong communication skills to distill finance into strategic narrative for C-suite and Board
Experience building an FP&A function from scratch and implementing systems/tools
