Head of Group Accounting

We are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Finance leader to take on the role of Head of Accounting for a dynamic, global technology company.

This position is critical in overseeing global financial reporting, ensuring compliance with international accounting standards, and sharing strategic financial insights.

Key responsibilities of the Head of Accounting:

Overseeing the financial closing on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis

Supervising the preparation of financial statements and management reporting

Ensuring adherence to international accounting standards and monitoring and adapting to financial regulation changes

Driving improvements in financial processes, optimizing workflows, and enhancing reporting accuracy

Acting as the primary contact for auditors

Providing financial expertise and guidance to leadership, contributing to business planning, budgeting, and strategic forecasting

Coaching, developing, and motivating a team of Accounting professionals

Supporting cross-functional collaboration to enhance overall financial governance

Key requirements:

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification preferred)

10+ years of experience in Financial Accounting, reporting, and closing

Experience managing and developing Finance teams in a multi-national environment

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent attention to detail

Ability to navigate complex financial environments and drive process efficiencies
