Head of Group Recipe and Raw Materials (m/f/d)

In this role you shape the global recipe and raw material strategy and drive scale-up across Döhler’s group. You lead an international team, establish governance and ensure regulatory-compliant material specifications throughout the lifecycle. You optimize the global raw material portfolio, improve production transfer, and accelerate product industrialization. • Define and execute the global strategy for recipe management, raw material management and scale-up across the Group
• Lead and develop an international team with governance structures and clear decision-making authority
• Manage the global raw material portfolio focusing on harmonization, standardization, cost optimization, supply security and risk mitigation
• Ensure raw material specifications and supplier documentation meet regulatory requirements and internal standards
• Own end-to-end scale-up from development to pilot plant to full production, including production-readiness documentation and parameter validation
• Drive scale-up efficiency to reduce time-to-market, minimize yield losses and accelerate product industrialization
• Oversee recipe and formulation lifecycle management for consistency and transparency across sites
• Collaborate with R&D, Procurement, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Supply Chain and Operations to drive cross-functional performance and continuous improvement
• Lead strategic transformation initiatives and represent the company in supplier/external partner engagements

• PhD, MSc or equivalent in relevant discipline
• 10+ years in food, ingredients, flavours or beverage industry with leadership experience
• Deep expertise in raw materials, formulations, product development and industrial scale-up processes
• Proven track record in portfolio optimization, process transfer and strategic transformation
• Experience managing international, cross-functional stakeholder groups
• Strategic and analytical mindset with strong execution capability
