Head of Market & Service Line Strategy (all genders welcome)

Head of Market & Service Line Strategy is the senior strategic leader responsible for shaping, defining, and driving the global market and service line strategy in its respective division . The role provides authoritative market insight, strategic guidance, and commercial direction to ensure the portfolio remains competitive, customer-centric, and aligned with regional market needs and long-term business priorities. Working closely with the VP Service Line, regional stakeholders, and cross-functional teams, this role leads the strategy-development process and translates market intelligence into clear strategic priorities, which support the divisions portfolio direction, and triggers growth initiatives.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead the development and continuous refinement of the global market and service line strategy, aligned with customer needs, market trends, and business objectives
Analyze market developments, customer demand, competitor positioning, regulatory drivers, and technology trends to identify strategic opportunities and risks
Define strategic priorities for the portfolio, including market focus areas, service line positioning, value propositions, and growth initiatives
Translate market and customer insights into recommendations for portfolio evolution, service enhancement, regional priorities, and go-to-market approaches
Define commercial frameworks including pricing principles, value-based positioning, and commercial steering guidelines
Provide strategic commercial input into business cases for new and existing services, focusing on market potential, value creation, pricing logic, and differentiated positioning
Lead development of global messaging, value propositions, and market communication frameworks
Drive customer and competitor intelligence to support differentiated positioning and ensure portfolios evolve in line with market expectations
Collaborate with regional teams and global service line stakeholders to ensure strategy alignment, practical execution, and consistent prioritization across markets and service lines
Support Service Line leadership in strategic planning, portfolio steering, and decision-making through structured analysis and strategic proposals

What you will bring

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics or related field required
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering Management, Strategy, or related field preferred
10+ years of experience in strategic, commercial, or market leadership roles in relevant industries
Strong experience influencing across service lines in a global environment
Experience in divisions portfolio is strongly preferred
Market analysis, competitive intelligence, and strategic planning
Commercial strategy, pricing logic, and value-based positioning
Strong understanding of industrial diagnostics and integrity applications
Value proposition development and market communication frameworks
Strong analytical, conceptual, and stakeholder management skills
Fluent in written and spoken English
