Head of Product Management - Pro Audio

Our client is an established and well-regarded German manufacturer of premium loudspeakers and professional sound reinforcement equipment, with a strong reputation for quality and innovation in the professional audio market. Following a period of strategic growth, they are now seeking to employ a new Head of Product Management with experience working in a commercial or technical role with a manufacturer of technical hardware products within the audio, AV or music technology industry. This is an important senior appointment and the successful applicant will play a central role in consolidating and leading all product-related activity across the business.

In this position you will take ownership of the product portfolio and roadmap, working in close collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, marketing and sales teams to ensure clear and consistent product communication across all channels. You will be the senior point of contact for customers and distribution partners on all product matters and will take the lead in building the company’s education and training capability, both for internal teams and the wider market. The role is hands-on and broad in scope, and reports directly into the senior commercial leadership team.

The right candidate will bring genuine technical credibility in professional loudspeakers, professional audio, or a closely adjacent AV product category, combined with the communication and presentation skills to represent the product confidently at every level. You will need to be a native or highly proficient German speaker and be based within practical reach of the Cologne/Frankfurt/Stuttgart region in the south west of Germany, working in a hybrid model of home/remote and office as required.
