In this leadership role you will head the Production & Logistics function to secure high-quality seed supply for national and international customers. You will lead diverse teams across Seed Production, Production Consultancy, Quality Laboratory, and Logistics, driving performance through clear indicators and budget stewardship. Your work shapes the future structure, equipment, and crop portfolios while ensuring compliance and cross-functional collaboration. • Lead and develop teams in Seed Production, Production Consultancy, Quality Laboratory, and Logistics
• Steer production performance using industrial indicators, financial results, and cost metrics
• Manage budgets and mid-term planning (investments, personnel, cost centers, production costs)
• Oversee multiplication and production planning, including negotiations with external partners
• Act as interface to KWS sales, international production networks, and crop leads
• Shape the production department by evolving structures, equipment, and crop portfolios
• Ensure compliance with regulations and advance internal standards
• Lead and contribute to strategic projects and cross-functional initiatives
• Represent KWS and participate in seed associations and industry networks

• Completed studies in agriculture, economics, or a related field
• Several years of proven experience in industry, ideally within seed industry or seed production
• Experience in leading leaders and managing complex organizational structures
• Excellent German (spoken and written) and good English proficiency
• Strong proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems, ideally SAP S/4
• Strong leadership presence, assertiveness, and change management ability
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ownership and openness to sharing ideas
• Proven leadership strength with reliability, empathy, and capability to navigate change and complexity
• High flexibility and collaboration skills with cross-functional stakeholder engagement
• Willingness to engage in industry networks and seed associations
